Chapter-4 Part -11
After Mahasamadhi
A marble idol of Narasimha Swamiji was installed in the Sanctum Sanctorum of Sri Sai Spiritual Centre, Thyagarajanagar, Bangalore in January 1993. In August 2004 at Vasanthapura (Bangalore) Temple also, Swamiji’s marble idol was installed. At the Sai Temple at Malleswaram, Bangalore, worship of Narasimha Swamiji is being done through a life size portrait. At Nava Mithra Mandali, Mumbai, devotees celebrate enthusiastically Narasimha Swamiji’s Jayanthi, and Aradhana regularly. At all the Upasamajams affiliated to the All India Sai Samaj, devotees worship Narasimha Swamiji. These are only a few examples as every Sai devotee is eternally thankful to Narasimha Swamiji for guiding him to Sai Marg.
Even after fifty years after he attained Mahasamadhi, Narasimha Swamiji is always with us in his subtle form. He is blessing us forever. There is no dearth for a great saint like Narasimha Swamiji. It is our sincere prayer to Samartha Sadguru Sainatha Maharaj, Narasimha Swamiji and Sri Radhakrishna Swamiji to shower their benign grace on one and all. By their grace, let the Sai movement gain the greatest momentum! Let Sai devotees get the required impetus, inspiration and strength to serve as beacon lights to the entire humanity and reach loftier heights in their spiritual pursuits.
COMRADES IN BABA’S SERVICE
Dedicated workers, who toil shoulder to shoulder under the inspiration and leadership of Narasimha Swamiji, the founder president of the All India Sai Samaj, contribute their share to the success and growth of a movement in the same way as the originator. As we cannot think of Narasimha Swamiji without thinking of Sai Baba, so we cannot remember him separately from those who worked with him when he launched the movement. It is these comrades in Baba’s service who have kept the movement active and shape out its progress after the Mahasamadhi of Narasimha Swamiji.
Sai Baba’s grace and Narasimha Swamiji’s dynamism drew numerous devotees. In the early years of its publication, ‘Sai Sudha’ carried in its pages several statements of experiences of devotees, articles and songs and poems in English, Tamil and Telugu from grateful devotees on Sai Baba, his miracles and glory. These writers may all be valued as workers in the cause. The songs by S.Rajam, Lalitha and Shuddhananda Bharati Swamiji proved very popular and they are sung in bhajans in Sai temples. The Dwarakamayi Bhajana Ghosti in Madras led by Sri Sundaresha Iyer, has rendered yeoman service in this regard.
At the All India Sai Samaj, Madras, Messrs.P.Pnini Rao, A. Varadappa Chettiyar, P. Gopalaswamy, Abdul Karim Sahib (Forest Officer), W.V. Rajan, C.V.Rajan, A.M. Sivaraman and others stood by Narasimha Swamiji by serving as Vice Presidents and committee members. To be continued....
