I am Your Protector - Experience of Sai devotee Manohary .

Happy Thursday and Happy Baba's day ,
There is no doubt about the fact that Baba is the ultimate Saviour. HE is full of compassion, love and mercy for HIS children. If we have firm faith on HIM, HE rescues us from all the problem. HE is the one who has the power to safeguard us against all calamities.

Dear Manisha-ji,
Om Sai Ram. I have been reading your blog regularly for a long time now. This is my first time sending my experience after I made a vow to Baba to send my story in.

I have been seriously worshipping Baba for the last 10 years. I have experienced many miracles, he has been there for me all the times, good and bad. Here I am writing one such miracle that recently happened to us.

My husband and children live and work out of town, away from the house where I reside in now. My youngest son came home one weekend from university. Baba sent him to be with me so that I will have moral support for what was going to happen shortly.

It was Feburary, 19th, 2009, a Thursday. We had bhajans as usual and went to bed. The next morning, early, at 4 a.m., I don't know what, but someone told me to get up. I was still in bed, but I turned towards my bedroom window and I was shocked to see flames outside my window. I got up and ran to the window, the flames were coming from my neighbour's house. Their house was on fire. I woke my son, called 911 but the fire brigade was already on the way.

We wanted to get out of the house but as we opened the front door, the wind was blowing and the fire was coming towards our door. We had to go back into the house as we couldn't exit from the front door. It was so hot, that we had to close the door. We did not know what to do, I was praying to Baba.
And suddenly a firefighter came and told us that we have to get out because our house was in jeopardy as well. He escorted us and shielded us as we left the house and went to a nearby neighbour's house.
Making a long story short, we had to be away from our house for 3 weeks as the neighbour's house was totally destroyed and had to be demolished. Our house had VERY minor damage, no structural damage at all. The insurance company took over all expenses, no questions asked. The minor repairs were done. As this was going on, I was always praying to Baba. I used to randomly open the book "A Comprehensive Life Sketch of Shree Shirdi Sai Baba", and the page came all the time "Go Home peacefully, I will take care of everything, have faith in me and be brave. I alone am your protector".

I am enclosing the photos of the fire. As Baba said, HE kept his promise that he will protect us.
