My miracle with Saima-Gowrivakkam Sai temple Chennai.

I had posted in my old post in detail about Sai temple Gowrivakkam -Chennai ,here is very nice leela shared by Sai sister Ashalatha about her Sai experience at her visit to this Sai temple .Jai Sai Ram .

We had been taking darshan of Saima for the past 6-7 yrs. Gurusthan Pooja is conducted in this temple by a group of ladies and so my mom once planned that we will go for Gurusthan Pooja. I was watching the pooja and the priest’s daughter conducts it with other ladies. She gave me a chance to do abhishek for Sai Gurunath, and after abhishek she brought a cover full of shawls, and was choosing which one to offer to Saibaba?

Everyone in the group were so shocked because the shawl and the head cloth that was offered to Sai was just the same as my churidhar in all respects, color, material, pattern we can just say that my churidhar was a piece of Sai’s shawl.

I felt so happy, could not believe my own eyes. Even now when I wear that churidhar I feel as if its just Sai’s shawl covering my body. I want to preserve it. Of course, this kind of coincidence takes place for us many times in mandir, but that could be the color combinations, even today when I go to see my Sai immediately I will start matching my dress with Sai like a small kid, willing to do same pinch to Sai.

The most favorite and blissful feel of this mandir is doing abhishek to saima, Saima is on a platform like Shirdi and we need to climb 3-4 steps from the ground level to reach Sai Baba’s holy feet. Its really a ceremony . Any devotee who steps inside the mandir at the abhishek time is most welcome to give shampoo shower to our Saima.

Once our family planned to be in the temple in the early morning hours for abhishek and we had told the priest about it.

One cannot imagine the emotions that will flow in our body right from our head to toe, such as fear, tears, getting goose bumps, boundless happiness, blissful state of mind all these terms are not enough to express the feelings that we will experience during that precious time.

I very well remember the priest telling me, don’t get scared he is our sai, rub his hands and legs its our duty to bathe him, Sairam to tell you the truth, I could not touch our Sai’s legs, because you can see a bluish green color line on Saima’s leg and it is believed to be Saima’s nerve. Who will have the guts to touch???
And when I pressed Sai’s leg I felt it was plumpy and soft. I really can’t tell you how I shampood Sai, After this ceremony , we were getting down on the steps.

My dad -was cautioning me, “be careful try to hold one of us you may slip as there is shampoo on the floor, the floor was just then marbelled so there is chance you may fall. (I was pregnant)

I -told my dad, “please don’t worry, Sai will hold our hand, “ don’t worry about us."

This kind of conversation was going on between me and my dad thrice before we could come out of the sanctum sanctorium, and what I see my dad slipped but by grace of our Saima, he balanced his hand on the floor so he did not get injured and just sat on the floor, Immediately we helped him to raise up and I said, dad see you were cautioning me but I left my whole self at the custody of Sainath, whereas you were just worried about me, and did not entrust the safety of us to Sai. Being in darbar of Sai how can one be in trouble and this was very well witnessed by all of us.Lesson well learnt:Sai just needs complete faith and devotion.
