Shirdi Sai Baba Stories,Leelas and Teachings.: I prayed for my friend.

Dear readers
Prayer not only work for our self but they do healing for others -as one prays selflessly -God loves this service best and answer them quickly .This has been experienced in last few months by Sai brother G.P Sinha who is selflessly praying for Sai devotee across the globe,who send him their prayer request. I have already posted about this service in the blog and devotees are welcome to send their prayer request to him given in above section Sai seva..

Similarly Sai devotee Neil ji felt same recently, about praying for others .I am attaching his mail below which clearly indicates that Baba loves selfless service to mankind which he Himself carried all His life .Nothing materialistic remained with Baba though he used to receive huge dakshina and offering by devotees flocking for His darshan , but He emptied all his treasure in seva for others and helped and served all in all possible ways .

And this universal message is clearly witnessed by all those devotees who pray for their friends, relatives or for anyone and find that Baba comes running to help them and fulfill their prayer .Jai Sai Ram .

About three hours ago I got off the phone with a dear friend of mine who now resides in New York, what she told me about a week ago here it goes.

My Friend Stella was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Jan. of 2006, at that time she was living in Trinidad. She decided to go to the U.S. where, her children live, to do more test and the final operation. There she lived with her daughter-Sarah.

Sarah cared and looked after her mother, while holding down 2 jobs and studying. My friend Stella confirmed with me that she would have her breast removed, she asked me to pray for her, so she would be able to beat the big Cancer .I prayed for her to Baba and she did beat the ailment and has been surviving for 2 yrs . This is one part of prayer .Now comes another part.

During that time, Sarah passed her exams and continued to care and provide comfort for her mom as a loving daughter should, on the other hand Stella's other daughter, Amber, who lived in Georgia, and who was very close to her mother, when she was a kid, was going through her own turmoil’s in her own life which left her bitter especially, towards her Mom. So in short Stella and her second daughter Amber were having bitter and strained relation with no respite of getting back to normal.

Last year Xmas Amber decided to go to NY to spend Xmas (for the first time in 10 yrs) with her mother and sister. This She decided to do so after hearing that Sarah her sister met with an accident., Sarah got to a vehicular accident in October, breaking her right arm, so badly that she needed Therapy to get to working properly again.

After, about a month Sarah could not stay for much longer in bed and so she resumed her work in Nov 2008 but in lot of pain.

So Amber decided to visit them to NY to help, care for mom and to help her sister.

In the mean time Sarah was also told to undergo another operation to fix her arm .Stella was however, scared to be under the same roof with Amber, because their relationship was, at time very bad to say the least.

Finally Amber came to NY on 18/12/08, things went well for a couple of days, then on Xmas Day Stella called me (Neil) to wish me a Merry Xmas.. When I asked about Amber and herself she told that Amber was going to leave on the 27/12/08.And Poor Stella cried her heart out on the phone and asked my advice. She knows about Baba but she has never prayed to Baba .She has been my friend for many years and have heard a lot about Baba and his leela in my life so she asked me to Pray to him to help her in her situation.I told her to pray and that I shall also pray for her and would do it right away. That night I took my plight to My Sai.

I prayed and pleaded to him about, this situation. Earnestly I begged Baba to give happiness, health and peace to my friend.

On 31/12/08 I called Stella to wish her Happy New Year, and to my surprise she told me that my prayers were answered. She said that Amber did not leave and to this day she is still in NY with her Mother and Sister. And that the relation between mother and daughter has improved greatly, and they are getting along wonderfully.

I cried like hell this morning, when she related this experience to me, how can I explain my joy.... I felt the true happiness of praying .This happiness cannot be expressed in words but all I could do was to Thank my Sai who helped improving this beautiful relation of mother –daughter. Thank you Baba.

Manisha I just heard your posted Bhajan, and than just after that heard about this experience...I am having a great blessed day.

I wish to write another small experience how Baba takes care of younger ones and how He is working on them also.

I love all the bhajans that you post, Thank u very much. I want to let you know since I have started downloading the bhajans that you post, some thing wonderful has happened. My two little nieces (Kajal 7/Kareena 6) would sit and listen when I played these bhajans.

Little did I realize that they were so enthralled in them, on Sunday they started to ask questions about these bhajans, and on seeing a picture of Baba on my computer they thought HE was singing?

I however explained to them how I am lucky to get these Gems. They seemed very interested, little did I know they loved the Sai Dhun- Om Sai Ram and they started to dance to it (they are learning classical dancing) and started to chant to it, much to my surprise and delight.

They told me that they have been listening, since I started to play a couple week’s, before, I was really moved to tears. We have a daily ritual of going to the prayer room together, now I have introduced them to Our Sai.They anxiously await me every evening after; I get off work they are waiting to pray to Baba.
Baba and his wonders again, at work. And now he is working on these little angels..What to say more of our divine Baba. Jai Sai Baba .
