My Samadhi will speak .

Happy Thursday and a happy Baba's blessed day to all,

Here is a very unique incident for all of us to read ,where one comes to understand how Baba knows everything and for His Bhakta how much he cared .

In Sai Satcharitra there are incidents given where Baba would remind his devotee of his forgetfulness for any promise he made.


Between Pune and Satara lies a small town called Sirval.About four hundred years ago there was a Satpursh named Narayan Swamiji.His Samadhi is next to the Ram Mandir.Adjacent to his samadhi ,is the samadhi of another saint Baja Bua.

Legend has it that ,if a devotee worshipped the samadhi with full faith and said,"bahi dole",the Samadhi would sway.Madhav Rao Peshwa heard this and went to Shirval.And after worshipping the samadhi with full faith said,"baji dole,".And lo! the samadhi started swaying .

Years later Chang dev Maharaj went to meet Dnyaneshwar Maharaj riding on a fierce lion,using a poisonous snake for a whip.At that time Dnyaneshwar was sitting on a wall.Hearing that Chang Dev Maharaj had come to meet him he ordered the wall to move forward so he could meet him.Indeed the wall moved forth.

Years later Baba ,the Prarabhrama manifested in Shirdi .He lived in a dilapidated and looked after the welfare of His devotees.One day while sitting in th masjid He sai to Shama "maje Samadhi Bole le,maje hard turbut thu ne Bolethil bar ka Shama" meaning -"My Samadhi will speak ,so will my bones talk to my devotees from my Tomb".

And so it came to pass that many wonderful leelas were experienced by Baba's ankita bhaktas.One of them is given here.

Baba sahib Tarkhad once attended the Ram Navami celebration in the year 1932.After having a bath with utter love and devotion he went to Dwarkamai.There he took the darshan of Baba's photograph and performed puja.The puja was the offering of camphor,incense sticks and dakshina.After shastang namaskar he applied udi from Dhuni Maa .

After asking Baba for permissionto leave,he went to the Samadhi Mandir.There he worshipped the Samadhi and gave his dakshina.As the Ram Navami festival had concluded he decided to leave for Mumbai .

He went in time to catch the 11 a.m bus that would have three seats vacant for pilgrims to go to Mumbai.But that day each and every bus was crowded to suffocation.So he returned to Dixit wada.In the Wada his mind was in turmoil.Why has this happened today?Did I make any mistake in my Puja?That night his turmoil increased with every passing hour.And he was quite restless.

The next day he went to Dwarkamai to take darshan of Baba's Photograph.To his utter surprise he saw Baba's Narsingh roop(Angry form) in the photograph.He was shocked and speechless.He knew in his heart that he had erred some where.

But where?Then Baba Sahib went to Samadhi Mandir,and placed his head on Baba's paduka and no sooner had he done this he heard Baba say"Aare Maja Sava rupiya"!At once he remembered the conversation ,he has with his daughter -in-law before leaving Mumbai .She has given him one and a quarter rupees and asked him to put it in the Samadhi Mandir's dakshina box.


He has tried to dissuade her ,by saying "if you put the money in dakshina box,it will go to the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan general fund.But if I give it to the donation counter and get a receipt, your name will be published in their donor list in the Sai leela Magazine".

To which she had replied "I do not care for my name to be publicized.I am offering this money with love and devotion .All I want is that this money be put in the dakshina box".Than Baba Sahib humbly put the money in the dakshina box.

The incident here clearly indicates that any offering /dakshina made to Baba must be done with pure devotion rather than for getting any recognition or satisfying self pride ,Baba is all pervasive and without any announcement Baba's knows every thought and every activity of HIS bhaktas.
