Goddess SAI Sapta Shringi of Shirdi

Devotion must not be like the flood of the rainy season in which all get washed away. Devotion should be like the river that retains water even in the hottest season.

We all know and have heard this many time ,that in times of happiness we do not remember God but when sorrow surround us , we rush for prayer and immediate relief to almighty.

But this is not the case with this Sai devotee. She prefers not to mention her name. And wants to share something which any Sai bhakt can practically try when they lose all hope .She gaurentees that Baba shall come running if our devotion is like the river .


She is a Sai Baba devotee past many years and has always seen HIS presence in almost everything in her life .She is in immense love with Baba and never wishes to be away from Him for a second. She tries her level best to abide by all the teachings of Baba which are mentioned in Sai Satcharitra .


She adds about her life -which is full of happiness, contentment and blessed and granted by Baba to her.Nothing is wanting in her home.But as it is mentioned in Sai Satcharitra that one has to reap one’s own karma (even if we do not know in this life what we had done in previous life)and get over with them .This bhakta feels the same and agrees to face anything in life provided she has constant companionship and blessing of Baba .

She was happy and leading her life in Sai sumiran but one fine day an ailment struck her .She tried all possible treatment but to no result. She developed ring worm on her both breast .She would get the medication and follow it, after recovery she would leave her treatment it would reappear again.

All the time she would have itching and it would get very embarrassing for her to go in any public place .At time she would be in so much of irritation that in public place she would not be able to do anything but bear the itching .

She tried to follow Baba’s way of treatment and applied UDI on effected area and also took UDI daily with water. Every day in her prayer she would request her Saima to cure her and took Sai Satcharitra prayana.But still there was no improvement . Baba had planned something different for her .

One day while she was doing her Sai Satcharitra Parayana she came across 30th chapter and read how Shama’s mother suffered with same problem and how Goddess Shaptashringi cured and blessed her .After reading she was in tears over her helplessness and cried in front of Baba’s photo. Than she left for her work.

While she was doing her household chore her mind was constantly thinking about the chapter she read .She felt as though a voice was telling her from within something but she could not understand it. After finishing her work the thought still lingered with her .So she immediately went to her Pooja room and sat in front of Baba’s photo.


She kept looking at Baba as though Baba was telling her something. Her mind was not in peace so she again took out her Sai Satcharitra book and embraced it close to her bosom .It gave her immense peace and control over her emotions.


I must add here that Sai Satcharitra is not merely a book containing life history and teaching of Sai Baba but it’s a nectar which cures, help and eases any type of circumstances a person is stuck with .It is blessed by Baba and HIS grace is easily felt by all those who take shelter in Sai Satcharitra.

The strength she absorbed from it, heart of heart she felt like reading another chapter. This time she randomly opened the book to take Baba’s message. And to her great surprise same 30th chapter was in front of her .Again with peaceful mind and heart filled with love for Baba she read the complete chapter.

Here after her cure began. She immediately got the thought that she will all over again use UDI and apply it on her effected area .And she would offer two silver breast to her Goddess SAI SaptaShringi of Shirdi as soon as she gets the first opportunity.

With guidance of Baba himself the devotee improved in her ailment .She did not stop her treatment with UDI and chanting Sai Naam Jaap.She was very confident that nothing shall cure but only Udi so she stopped her ointments and applied only Udi .She kept her faith and patience strong and followed this non -stop.After 2 months there was drastic change and she thanked Baba every single second for the recovery.

Another surprise was waiting for her .One day her husband decided that it was vacation time so they should visit Shirdi while they see other places. She had taken the vow and it was the right time to fulfill her vow. Without any delay all arrangements were made for the pilgrimage to Shirdi.

Sai devotee rushed to goldsmith to get silver breast ready as per to her vow.

Within few days they were in Holy land of Shirdi.It was Thursday and they had decided to go for Kakad Aarti.They attended Aarti and had very good Darshan.When they were coming out this devotee wanted to offer the silver breast .

As per to the temple rules she was told to put it in Hundi and not in Samadhi mandir.Her vow was fulfilled the minute she put her offering in the Hundi and felt very strongly blessed by Baba.Tears rolled down her eyes thinking how merciful is her Sai .After she returned from Shirdi there was no sign of ailment ,there was no itching and no marks .She did not require anything any more to treat it, including application of UDI .Though she says she takes UDI daily after her morning pooja but do not apply any more on the effected part.

In this way dear readers Sai Baba became in recent time for HIS bhakt SaptaShringi of Vani and treated her, as His devotee did not know any other Sadhana nor any resort other than HIS Holy Sai ,our Baba came to her rescue .

It wont be exaggeration to say that Baba was won over by the devotion of her Bhakta to become Goddess SaptaShringi and treat her .

Where as in Sai Satcharitra chapter 30th Baba does not accept Shama to offer the silver breast as vowed by his mother to Him ,but makes him rush to Vani and ask him to offer at the feet of Goddess SaptaShringi.

Faith and Patience always wins over Baba’s heart ,the two coin which Baba always asks everyone to have.
