It is very important to understand that Baba never spoke of his Successor, relative ,heir or Shishya who would take after him his legacy ,this was itself proved by Baba.Here I shall write few incidences on this.
We all know Baba took Maha Samadhi on October 1918.There was no proper arrangements made for taking care of Mahasamadhi of Baba from 1918 -1922.Seeing this Kaka Saheb set up a office with a Managing committee under the Public Trust Act, with the approval of the District Court Ahmednagar.
When this was going on Abdul Baba was performing Abhishek daily to Samadhi ,so the mahanaivedya was handed over to him. Also, he was allowed to live in the room on the left side, adjacent to Samadhi.Since he was the only leading devotee of Sai Baba he collected 4-5,000 Rs as dakshina from Baba’s devotees and started thinking himself the legal heir to Sai Baba.It went so far that when the Trust was formed some of his well wisher thought it be injustice to Abdul Baba .And finally Abdul Baba filed a case against the Trust in Ahmednagar Court.
Abdul Baba lost case and he was withdrawn from the right to maintenance of the Samadhi, he was asked to vacate the room and also the Mahanaivedya was stopped.
Baba had said that he would have Divine powers for Thousands of years to look after the welfare of His devotees and never indicated any succsesor or heir and it was proved here.
Similarly Sri Muktaram a ardent devotee of Sai Baba whom Baba had given his kafani also tried something like this. He used to live in Dixit Wada and keep a dhuni .After few days of Baba’s Samadhi one day Muktaram forcibly occupied Baba’s Gadi(sitting place) in Dwarkamayi against the wishes of villagers.
The minute he sat on the Gadi he began to vomit blood and was taken back to his place of living -Dixit wada .Before it could be decided whether to take him to Kopegaun hospital or what to do ,he died in Dixit wada and his Samadhi is in Lendi Baug.
This very clearly indicated that Baba was not willing to allow anybody to occupy HIS gadi.And once again the point of no heir or successor was prooved .Sai Baba has no incarnation and never designated a chosen successor.He has been taking care of His children even before they called HIM for help and so is He doing it now ,witnessed every second by millions of HIS devotees even after so many years of His Mahasamadhi . Sai Baba is thus unique Almighty our Jagatpita .
After Baba's Mahasamadhi,Shama an intimate devotee of Baba was managing the Dixit Wada. He was looking after the welfare of the devotees and resided in Dixit Wada itself. After the formation of Baba's Sansthan Committee -the Committee demanded agreement ( from him for his residence in Dixit Wada). Madhava Rao first refused. But later, Shri S. B. Dhumal and Shri B. V. Deo intervened and Madhava Rao gave the agreement.
After some days, the committee vacated Shama from his residence in Dixit Wada. At the time of vacating, he had taken away Baba's silver Padukas, Baba's Photos and other things to his house from Dixit Wada. After knowing this, the committee asked Shama to hand over the above articles of Baba to the Sansthan. He refused first. But Shri S. B Dhumal went to his house with a big procession of bhajan, band etc. On seeing this procession Shama handed over all the above articles of Baba to Shri S. B. Dhumal. These Baba's Padukas were placed before Baba's Photo in Dwarakamayi where in lakhs of devotees are taking darshan of the above Baba's Padukas now.
By all these incidences it is clear that there were no sishyas, no hereditary, no relatives, no successor, no rebirth and no reincarnation to Him -Our Param Pita Sathguru Sainath
