Dear Readers
Baba spent more than 60 years in Shirdi the maximum time that Baba spent was in Dwarkamyi ,Dwarkamayi was Baba’s darbar where people from all over the world ,from different sect came and had their personal experience according to their faith in Baba .Everyday something or other happened and Baba played His leela quietly .It was during one of those days during Baba’s stay in Dwarkamyi there was one Baba’s devotee Dr Rajaram Kapdi (photo is given below, who was born in Shirdi on 22.8.1914).

His Father Jaydev Vaman Chitanbar was the headmaster of the Marathi School in Shirdi .Rajaram used to go to dwarkamayi and play there a lot, and Baba would also play with him .

Baba used to call him with love GANPAT.One fine day her mother noticed that there was a swelling of about 1/3” on the right side of his nose .His mother became concerned and worried for it. During that time a doctor came to Shirdi for few months and he was very attached to Rajaram and would take him for walk with Him every evening.

Rajaram's mother asked Doctor about the growth on the nose. Doctor told him that it was the growth of the nasal bone and it can be removed by operation which could be only done at Bombay, Than she added that her father also had the same swelling at the same side and on the same place and nothing could be done of that .

After few days Rajaram was as usual playing with Baba in the dwarkamayi and he did not return home on usual time.

His mother noticed that he was not at home and went to dwarkamyi .There she found Rajaram sitting with Baba .She picked him up and carried him out of Dwarkamyi and slapped him .
Baba called her softly and said "He was your father in his past life and My friend. Don't ever hit him again".

His mother took heed of Baba's words, and the fact of the physical similarity and didn't beat him again. The photo given here is of Rajaram Kapdi.

That Thursday she adorned Baba's photograph at home with 'haldi, kum-kum' and performed Arati. She applied some Udi on Rajaram's forehead and called him 'Appa' (father). From that very moment the swelling started subsiding and became all right.
