Fakir has Not permitted to Give you.

Narke's mother was worried about Narke's employment, as he was always going from place to place and often was unemployed. Narke was trained in England as Geologist, Mining Engineer and he took one job after another finishing in short times .His first stay at Shirdi was of 3-4 days .Than he went back to Balaghat and Burma.After 3 month his work ceased and he went back to Nagpur and finally to Shirdi .There he stayed for 4 months with his wife and again went back to Nagpur.While all this was going on ...

He got a letter from Shama that Baba wanted him and went to Shirdi and stayed for 13 months , he was unemployed but he did not care ,in fact fancied fakirs life is good for him .In 1914 Baba had a number of Kupnis(Babas dress /long gown) and he presented to number of people ,Narke was watching the distribution of kupnis ,he hoped and thought that one might be given to him to be kept or worn on special occasion like bhajan ,prayer etc..and waited ...

After Baba stopped the distribution of kupnis he was still left with many more kupnis with Him .Ater Baba had distributed he called Narke and placing His hand kindly on his head stroking it ,said

"Do not blame me for not giving you a kupni That Fakir (meaning evidently God) has not permitted me to give you one."

Narke once again realised Babas power of reading the thought .
